Ross Broadbent

Ross Broadbent is an Engineering Design and Project Management Consultant with an unequalled depth of experience in design, construction and engineering management for mine, rail and port infrastructure developments. Ross was Engineering and Project Manager with Port Waratah Coal Services and gained broad experience in coal chain infrastructure development, operation and maintenance.

He is a professional engineer with over thirty years professional experience in project, construction, engineering and study management and engineering design for major industrial, infrastructure, minerals processing, materials handling and general process plant.

Ross has extensive experience in overseeing and monitoring of cost plans and scheduling activities associated with major projects and extensive project management and operating experience in corporate greenfield and brownfield environments.

He has excellent capabilities in managing major projects from concept, through feasibility, approvals processes, implementation to final handover to project owners.

Ross has been been feasibility Studies for both national and international projects. He has significant experience in the management of Development Applications for major projects including management of the preparation of Environmental Impact Statements and Statements of Environmental Effects.

He had a strong background in bulk materials handling and storage, processing facilities and infrastructure projects and in various operating roles both in heavy industry and large materials handling operations.

Ross established Broman Services Pty Ltd in 2000 specialising on Project, Construction and Engineering Management, taking lead roles in all aspects of project delivery. Broman Services adds value to projects as they progress through the various stages of delivery and recognises that the formative stages of a project provide the greatest opportunity to ensure optimal and successful project outcomes. Broman can also undertake independent audits of projects for constructors or project owners.
