Keith has been employed in the Coal Mining Industry since 1960 and has held a number of management positions both in Australia and Scotland. He was the first Manager of Mount Thorley Mine in 1980 and in 1988 was promoted to the position of Superintendent of Coal & Allied’s two large open cuts mines namely Hunter Valley Mine and Mount Thorley Mine. From June 1995 to June 2002 he was General Manager of Bayswater Colliery and since that time has taken on a number of short term consultancy jobs within the Coal Industry. He is also a Coordinator for ACARP project managing a number of Research Projects.
